Terms and Conditions

Related:Privacy PolicyEditorial standards

Effective September 27, 2026

1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Quilli ("Quilli", "we", "us" or "our"). They govern your access to and use of the websites at quillinewsletter.com and app.quillinewsletter.com, every Quilli publication and newsletter (including Quilli Energy, Quilli Semis, Quilli Manufacturing, Quilli Infrastructure, Quilli Real Estate and Quilli Markets), and the trackers, calendars, job listings, forms, emails and related services we provide (together, the "Services").

By subscribing to, accessing or using the Services, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

If you use the Services on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and "you" includes that organization.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Services. The Services are intended for business and professional audiences and are not directed to children. You may not use the Services if you are barred from doing so under applicable law, including sanctions and export-control laws.

3. Changes to these Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated Terms with a new effective date. If a change is material, we will provide reasonable advance notice, for example by email to subscribers or a notice on the website. Changes take effect on the stated effective date. Your continued use of the Services after that date means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree to a change, you must stop using the Services and unsubscribe.

4. The Services

Quilli publishes free newsletters and related web content for professionals in the energy, semiconductor, manufacturing, infrastructure, real estate and financial markets sectors. Publications may be marked as live or as launching in the future. Joining a list for a publication that has not launched means we will email you when it does.

We may add, change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Services, including any publication, feature or format, at any time and without liability to you. We may also set limits on use of certain features.

5. Subscriptions and newsletters

  • You choose which newsletters you receive at sign-up and can change your choices at any time.
  • Daily editions are sent only if you opt in to them.
  • Every newsletter email contains an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing from one newsletter does not unsubscribe you from others unless you choose that.
  • We may send you service messages about your subscription, such as confirmations, changes to these Terms or the Privacy Policy, and security notices. These are not marketing messages and you cannot opt out of them while you remain subscribed.
  • We may decline, suspend or cancel any subscription that appears automated, fraudulent, abusive or in breach of these Terms.

6. Accounts, sign-in and security

You must provide accurate, current and complete information, including a work email address that you control, and keep it up to date. Sign-in is by a link sent to your email address. You are responsible for activity that occurs through your email address and for keeping access to your email account secure. Tell us promptly at support@quillinewsletter.com if you believe your access has been compromised.

7. Profile information

When you subscribe we ask for professional information such as your name, company, job title, organization type, function, seniority, region and topics of interest. You agree that this information is accurate. We use it as described in our Privacy Policy, including to shape our coverage and to describe our readership to advertisers and partners in aggregate form (for example, the number or percentage of readers who work at utilities or hold director-level roles). We do not give advertisers your name, email address or other information that identifies you, except where you have separately and expressly agreed to it, such as registering for a sponsored event whose registration form says that your details will be shared with the sponsor.

8. Communications and electronic notices

You consent to receive communications from us electronically, including by email and by notices on the Services. Electronic communications satisfy any legal requirement that a communication be in writing.

9. Acceptable use

You may read the Services, forward an individual issue to a colleague for their personal professional use, and quote short extracts with clear attribution to Quilli and a link to the source. Unless we give you prior written permission, you must not:

  • copy, republish, sell, license, rent, or systematically redistribute content or data from the Services, including by making it available in any database, newsletter, feed or product;
  • scrape, crawl, spider, harvest, bulk-download or otherwise access the Services by automated means, other than standard search-engine indexing that complies with our robots.txt file;
  • use any content or data from the Services to develop, train, fine-tune, evaluate, ground or prompt any machine learning or artificial intelligence model or system, or to build a competing product or dataset;
  • remove, alter or obscure any copyright, trademark or attribution notice;
  • frame or mirror the Services, or use our name or marks in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation;
  • circumvent, disable or interfere with any security feature, access control, rate limit or anti-spam measure;
  • submit false, misleading, defamatory, infringing, unlawful or harmful material through any form, including subscriber details, job postings, event listings, people-move announcements or corrections;
  • impersonate any person or organization, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organization;
  • introduce malware or any code designed to disrupt, damage or gain unauthorized access to the Services or related systems;
  • use the Services in violation of any applicable law or regulation, including securities, privacy, anti-spam, employment and sanctions laws.

10. Intellectual property

The Services and their content, including text, headlines, summaries, analysis, trackers, records, record codes, compilations, charts, graphics, designs, software, and the Quilli name, wordmark and publication names, are owned by Quilli or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, database and other intellectual property laws. Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these Terms, no rights are granted to you.

Facts and documents published by third parties, such as regulators, grid operators, companies and courts, belong to them or are in the public domain. Our selection, coordination, arrangement, classification and presentation of that material is our work. Links to third-party sources and short attributed extracts are provided for reference and verification.

11. Not professional advice

The Services provide general information about industries and markets for professional readers. Nothing in the Services is, or should be relied on as, investment, financial, legal, tax, accounting, engineering, regulatory, employment or other professional advice, or an offer, solicitation or recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security, commodity, derivative or other asset. We are not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer or law firm. You are solely responsible for your decisions and should obtain independent professional advice before acting on any information.

12. Accuracy, sources and corrections

We work from primary sources where available and check facts before publication, but information in the Services may be incomplete, delayed, superseded or contain errors, and third-party sources may themselves be inaccurate. Items based only on reporting by other outlets are labeled as reported. When we identify a material error we correct it on the website and note the correction in a subsequent issue. Please report suspected errors to support@quillinewsletter.com.

13. Third-party links and services

The Services contain links to third-party websites, documents and services, including sources, sponsors, event organizers and employers. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, products, services, privacy practices or availability. Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk and governed by their terms.

14. Advertising and sponsored content

Sponsored material is labeled "Presented by", "Sponsored" or similarly. Sponsors do not select, review, approve or influence editorial content. Sponsorship is not an endorsement by Quilli of any sponsor, product or service. Advertisers are solely responsible for their advertisements, claims, landing pages and compliance with law. We may reject, remove or reschedule any advertisement at our discretion. Purchases of advertising are governed by the insertion order or booking confirmation for that purchase and, where those are silent, by these Terms.

15. Job postings

Employers who purchase job postings represent that each posting describes a real, currently open position; is accurate and lawful; complies with applicable employment, anti-discrimination and pay-transparency laws; and that they are authorized to post it. Quilli is not an employer, recruiter or employment agency, does not screen candidates or employers, and is not a party to any application, offer or hiring decision. Candidates apply through the employer's own link and at their own risk. We may edit postings for format, and may reject or remove any posting.

16. Event listings

Event listings are provided for convenience. Organizers are responsible for their events, including dates, locations, content, pricing, cancellations and attendee safety. Confirm details with the organizer before making plans or purchases. Featured event placement is paid advertising and is labeled as such.

17. Fees, payment and refunds

Reading Quilli newsletters is free. If you purchase advertising, a job posting, a featured listing or any future paid product, you agree to pay all fees shown at the time of purchase, plus applicable taxes. Payments are processed by our payment processor (currently Stripe) under its terms, and we do not store full payment card numbers. Unless the purchase terms say otherwise or the law requires, fees are non-refundable once the paid placement has been published or delivered. If we cannot deliver a paid placement for reasons within our control, we will offer a replacement placement or a refund of the fee for the undelivered placement.

18. Submissions and feedback

If you send us material, such as a people-move announcement, event, job posting, tip, correction, comment or suggestion ("Submission"), you represent that you have the right to provide it and that it does not infringe anyone's rights or violate any law. You grant Quilli a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, transferable and sublicensable licence to use, verify, edit, adapt, publish and distribute the Submission in connection with the Services. We are not obliged to publish or respond to any Submission. Feedback about the Services may be used by us without any obligation to you.

19. Copyright complaints

If you believe material in the Services infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated agent at support@quillinewsletter.com, including: your contact details; identification of the copyrighted work; identification of the material you claim is infringing and where it appears; a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner; and your physical or electronic signature.
